Presented by Hannah Smith, JD

Hannah is the National Coordinator for the Religious Freedom Alliance Council. Following two clerkships at the U.S. Supreme Court for Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel A. Alito, Jr., she served a decade as Senior Counsel at Becket Law.

She has degrees from Princeton and BYU Law and has worked in D.C. law firms. Hannah has dedicated her career to protecting and advancing religious freedom for all. She has presented at hundreds of events nationally and internationally.

Richard Durfee

Richard Durfee Jr. (Rick) is the founding and senior attorney of Durfee Law Group in Mesa, Arizona, with nearly four decades of legal experience serving clients nationwide. His background teaching World Religions at Arizona State University shapes a holistic approach to legacy—one that values both material and non-material inheritance. Guided by his motto, “Live Well, Leave a Legacy™,” Rick’s involvement on this council has been instrumental in strengthening and building this community.
